As summer draws to a close, the Web Design and Development team is excited to showcase our new website launches for July and August 2017.
Bully 4 U
Brian Trainor’s Bully4U site is focused on bringing into the light issues of bullying, fraud and obesity. Brian works with schools and community organizations through workshops for both children and adults to engage the community in these difficult subjects and work toward solutions. Check out his website now to see his workshop offerings as well as his educational comic book (with teacher’s guide)!
Saskatchewan Young Readers’ Choice Awards is a volunteer-run, non-profit organization that has encouraged a love of reading in children and youth for over 15 years. Through their new website they are able to showcase their community initiatives including a yearly gala, launch events and school/library based activities that engage children, parents, teachers and librarians in reading great Canadian literature. The Willow Awards site is a great way to see some of the best books for all youth in recent years. Don’t forget to help your kids vote for their favourites each year!
Global Human Resources Centre Inc. provides temporary employment offers to seven areas of Ontario. The focus for their new website was to live up to their motto – Good Help is NOT Hard to Find. Their new website allows them to categorize their positions by location and type, and offers users a quick and easy way to provide their application through the website. Employers are provided with information on how to become part of GHRC’s program. Check out their website (and open job postings) today!
As the summer heats fades and we prepare for Fall and Winter the Web Team at BlackSun is looking forward to featuring more great sites in 2017.
