The Stack Clash

On June 19, 2017 a stack memory vulnerability in the Linux Kernel was found called ‘The Stack Clash’. If exploited it could allow an unprivileged local user to gain root access to affected servers. ‘The Stack Clash’ affects Linux, OpenBSD, NetBSD, FreeBSD and Solaris, on i386 and amd64.
